RS 232 Interface Protocol
The interface is a 9-pin Sub-D socket on the rear of the discussion control unit labelled with "RS 232". The connection corresponds to
the standard RS 232-C connection.

The interface is operating with the following parameters:
• 9600 Baud
• 8 data bit
• NO Parity
• 1 stop bit
RTS means ready to send, normally active (+V);
CTS is waiting for the Clear-to-send signal from the control device (PC), if no CTS is sent, Pin 7 and 8 must be shortened inside the
connector.
Software protocol
Data exchange in true ASCII-Code. After any command a Carriage Return (0x0D) will be sent.
The Request-to-talk list is handled internally by the MCS 100 unit
