Alarm Threshold
An Alarm Threshold can be set for soiling detection. The
value range is 20...90%. If the light reception level
normalized to the 100% reference falls below the alarm
threshold, the event Maintenance Required – Cleaning is
output and the Device Status is also set to 1 –
Maintenance Required. In this case, the front lens of the
sensor or the transmitter should be cleaned.
Current Receiver Level
The Current Receiver Level parameter is used to output
the currently available reception level to the transmitter,
referenced against the 100% reference. The parameter is
thus a value for the current degree of soiling of the sensor.
If no valid measurement value is available after switching
on the sensor, the value of 255 is read out.
