Battery change
DANGER
CAUTION
CAUTION
By pressing the
key, the set value is acknowledged and saved non-vol-
atilely. If no key is pressed, the configuration mode will be exited after
~30 s without saving the latest value displayed, i. e. the original value will
be maintained.
For a detailed description of the configuration parameters refer to the
User manual.
Calibration
Two steps are required for executing calibration:
1. Write the calibration value in the configuration mode or via the bus
interface (see User manual)
=> Position value = current measured value + calibration value + off-
set value
2. Execute calibration (reset) (see chapter 5: Display and control keys
and Additional)
=> Position value = 0 + calibration value + offset value
Since the measuring system is an absolute system, calibration is necessary
only once with commissioning.
6 Battery change
Inflammable, danger of explosion and burns
` Do not recharge the battery nor expose it to temperatures above 85 °C.
` Dispose of used batteries properly.
Danger of short circuit
` Do not insert sharp or metallic objects into the inside of the housing
in case of remote battery compartment.
Loss of data
With missing supply voltage and empty or missing battery, calibration of
the sensor unit will be lost.
` It is mandatory to change the battery with supply voltage switched on.
` Repeated calibration travel in case of data loss (refer to the see User
manual for the procedure).
