Care, maintenance and disposal
General
Under normal operating conditions, the power source requires only a minimum of
care and maintenance. However, some important points must be noted to ensure
that the welding system remains in a usable condition for many years.
An electric shock can be fatal.

Air inlets and outlets must never be covered, not even partially.

Do not bring the air nozzle too close to electronic components.

Disposal
Dispose of in accordance with the applicable national and local regulations.

WARNING!
Move the mains switch to the "O" position
Unplug the device from the mains
Put up an easy-to-understand warning sign to stop anybody inadvertently re-
connecting it
Using a suitable measuring instrument, check to make sure that electrically
charged components (e.g. capacitors) have been discharged
Check mains plug, mains cable, welding torch, interconnecting hosepack and
grounding (earthing) connection for damage
Check that the device has an all-round clearance of 0.5 m (1ft. 8in.) to ensu-
re that cooling air can flow and escape unhindered
If present: clean air filter
Dismantle device side panels and clean inside of device with dry reduced
compressed air
If a lot of dust has accumulated, clean the cooling-air ducts
