Check that the blade guards are intact and correctly
mounted, with sufficient clearance to the blade.
–
Check that the log cradle automatically returns to the
home position.
–
Check that the power cord, plug and power switch are
undamaged. Electrical parts must only be repaired by
an authorised electrician.
–
Check that the saw blade stops no more than
10 seconds after the motor is switched off.
HOW TO USE
WARNING!
Risk of personal injury as a result of pieces of wood being
ejected
1.
Connect the saw to the mains.
2.
Press the power switch marked I.
3.
Start the saw and wait until the motor has reached full
speed.
4.
Place a log in the log cradle.
5.
Cut the log by moving the log cradle towards the blade.
Keep both hands on the log cradle handle.
–
Do not push so hard that the speed of the motor is
reduced.
–
Press the log cradle forwards all the way to the stop.
4. Move the log cradle all the way back to the home position.
NOTE:
If the log is not cut off completely, turn it over and saw from the
other side.
5. Remove the sawn piece, feed forward and cut the next.
6. Switch off the saw by pressing the switch marked 0.
NOTE:
•
Check before sawing that there are no foreign objects such
as nails or screws, in the wood to be cut.
•
Crooked logs should be placed in the log cradle with the
curved side towards the saw blade.
•
Do not lock down the log to be cut.
•
Do not try to brake the blade by pressing the log against
the side of the blade.
•
Only use sharp saw blades.
•
Never cut bundles of wood or several logs at the same
time. The saw blade can eject pieces that can cause
personal injury.
MAINTENANCE
NOTE:
•
Switch off the product, pull out the plug and wait until all
moving parts have completely stopped before cleaning
and/or maintenance.
•
Check that all safety devices function correctly after
maintenance.
•
Only use parts and accessories recommended by the
manufacturer, otherwise there is a risk of personal injury
and/or material damage.

CLEANING
Blow clean the saw with compressed air, or extract sawdust with
a dust extractor.
PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
At intervals of 50 working hours:
–
Check all screw unions. Retighten if necessary. The log
cradle and log cradle stop should move.
–
Check the assembly, wear and sharpness of the blade.
–
Remove any deposits on the inside of the blade guard.
REPLACING THE SAW BLADE
WARNING!
•
The saw blade can be very hot immediately after use – risk
of burn injury. Wait until the blade has cooled.
•
Do not clean the blade with a flammable liquid.
•
Wear gloves when handling the blade – risk of cut injuries.
•
Make sure to fit the blade in the right direction of rotation.
1.
Remove all the carriage bolts (E), washers and lock nuts on
the right-hand outer blade guard. Remove the right-hand
outer blade guard.

2.
Undo the 2 slotted screws with semi-circular heads, 2 spring
washers and 2 washers on the inner blade guard.

Undo the 2 hex screws with semi-circular heads on the right-
hand inner blade guard.

4.
Hold the outer flange with one spanner and undo the nut
with the other.
5.
Remove the nut and the outer flange from the saw spindle.
6.
Remove the saw blade from the saw spindle.
7.
Clean the contact surfaces on:
–
the saw spindle
–
the inner flange (A)
–
the saw blade (B)
–
the outer flange (C)
–
the nut (D)

8.
Fit a new saw blade. Check the correct direction of rotation.
WARNING!
Only use saw blades that satisfy the requirements in
accordance with EN 847-1:2013. Damaged or defective saw
blades can shatter and cause personal injury and/or material
damage.
STORAGE
•
Store the product out of the reach of children.
•
Store the product so it cannot be started by unauthorised
persons and cannot cause personal injury.
•
Do not store the product in damp conditions or unprotected
