Operation
TC-Calculation
If the temperature behaviour of the material being measured is not known, then the
process described below can be followed in order to determine the temperature coefficient
-Tcα- for the material being measured. To ensure that the TCα value is determined
accurately, it is necessary for the material being measured to be heated from the
reference temperature to the working temperature or for the material being measured
to be cooled from the working temperature to the reference temperature.
The temperature must change by at least 5 °C in order for the TCα value to be calculated.

The alternating display enables the automatic determination of the TCα value to
be started accurately by pressing the
temperatures, or for the determination to be stopped using the STOP button.
ð The TC-Calculation is displayed (item A)
The message "BUSY" (item 4) flashes during the TCα calculation.
The remaining time for the TCα calculation (item 5) is displayed.
STOP (item 6) can be used to stop the Tcα calculation at any time.
The calculated value is saved automatically (item B).
If the conditions for Tcα calculation are not fulfilled, a red error message (item C)
is displayed when the process is ended using the STOP button (item 6).
A Restart (item 8) or Cancellation (item 9) can be selected using the 'Down'
and 'Up' buttons
Zero Point Correction
NOTICE!
To achieve the specified measurement accuracy in the measuring range
0...200 µS/cm, the calibration must be performed with the flow fitting which
is used (Zero Point and Span).
For this, the measuring cell must be installed clean and dry in the flow
fitting for the "zero point check", without any loop resistance and/or without
fluid. For the "measuring range end value calibration", the measuring
cell must also be installed in the flow fitting with the corresponding loop
resistance (38.3kΏ ≙ 200µS/cm, article no. 289191, EBS no. 10092914).
The unit was calibrated at the factory in an NW 50 flow fitting.
