If you encounter problems

ERR 0 22 mA Read error: the process is stopped.
The calibration data is lost.
ERR 1 22 mA Write error: the process is stopped.
The calibration parameters cannot be saved.
ERR 2 4...20 mA Menu read error: the process is not stopped.
The calibration parameters cannot be accessed.
ERR 4 22 mA The 8400 no longer measures the temperature
correctly: the process is stopped.
ERR 5 22 mA The connection with the Pt100 sensor is lost.
22 mA The fluid temperature is outside the range permitted
(T° ≤ −50 °C / −58 °F, or ≥ +170 °C / +338 °F)

What to do
→ Press the ENTER key to go back to Read mode.
The device uses the default configuration.
→ Reconfigure the device (see chapter 9.7).
If the error persists, contact your Bürkert supplier.
→ Press the ENTER key to go back to Read mode.
The device uses the user configuration; BUT these
parameters are not saved.
→ Reconfigure the device.
If the error persists, contact your Bürkert supplier.
→ Press the browse keys to move around in the
menus.
If the error persists, contact your Bürkert supplier.
→ Switch off the device.
→ Switch on the device.
If the error persists, contact your Bürkert supplier.
→ Return the device to your Bürkert supplier.
→ Bring the fluid temperature back into the range
permitted, see chapter 6.3.2.
