2.5.1 Instructions for use
1. First fill the water tank before the appliance is switched on. (see par. 2.8.2).
2. Only pull the drawer in order to operate the fireplace, refill the water tank or replace a light,
otherwise it may lead to a high water level in the collection reservoir, which will lead to a
lower flame effect. If this happens, empty the collection reservoir as indicated in par. 2.9.2.
3. With flame height set to minimum, the water use will be 40 ml per hour, and the appliance
will burn three times as long as when the flames height is set to maximum.
4. Do not move or replace the fireplace while there is water in the water tank or the
collection reservoir.
5. The flames will move more realistically when the button for flame control is turned low.
6. Give the flame generator some time to react to changes when you change the flame effect.
7. If the appliance is not used for a period longer than 2 weeks, empty the water tank and the
collection reservoir en dry them with a cloth.
8. When the water tank is empty the lights will go out and you will hear two beeps. The
fireplace will go into stand-by mode.
The lights should be inspected regularly as described in par. 2.8.1.
9.
Depending on the room temperature and humidity some condensation can appear on the inside
of the fireplace. This can be prevented by turning the flame effect lower, just until the glass
has warmed up.
