6.10 Operator Safety Instructions

•
All the safety and protection devices shall be installed properly in places before the unit is switched on.
•
Never cut pieces of wood so small that they are impossible to be held safely
•
The blade should turn freely.
•
Cutting wood that was previously processed or treated in any way requires particular attention. Look
out for any nails, screws etc. Remove any foreign objects before getting down to work.
•
Before switching the main switch on, make sure that the blade is fitted as appropriate and that the
machine movable parts are free.
•
Caution! If in doubt, consult a professional in an authorised servicing centre for assistance in
installation/assembly of this desktop circular saw.
•
Do not use the machine until you have read the instruction manual carefully.
•
Observe any safety instructions included in the manual.
•

6.11 Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Set up the stops according to the cutting required.
2. Switch the unit on.
3. Slide the piece to be worked slowly and evenly to the blade using the sliding device so that the first full
cut can be done.
4. Switch the saw off and wait for the blade to come to standstill.
5. Take the piece out.
