Mounting the battery monitor

NOTICE! Damage hazard
Before drilling any holes, make sure that no electrical cables or other parts of the vehi-
cle can be damaged by drilling, sawing and filing.
1. Mark and drill 4 holes on the mounting surface according to the included boring template.
2. For flush mounting the device, cut the mounting surface out according to the boring template.
3. For surface mounting, use a wall-mounting box.
4. Connect the control cable (fig. 1, page 3, 2) and the temperature sensor (fig. 1, page 3, 3).
5. Fasten the device securely.

cle can be damaged by drilling, sawing and filing.
1. Mark and drill 2 holes on the mounting surface.
2. Fasten the device securely.

Connecting the device

WARNING! Electrocution hazard
The installation may only be carried out by a qualified electrician.
1. Lay all the necessary lines.
2. Plan the distribution and fuse protection of the circuits carefully. The battery fuse should be
installed as close to the battery as possible. The suggested distance is within 150 mm.
3. Connect the negative pole of the battery to the battery minus terminal of the shunt using the
included flexible grounding strap.
4. Connect all minus cables and the chassis connection (optional) to the common ground termi-
nal of the shunt.
5. Make sure that all lines are inserted and connected properly.
6. Tighten both M8 screws of the shunt with torque of 13-15 Nm.
7. Secure all lines with strain relief clamps.
8. Connect the device as shown (fig. 1, page 3).

NOTICE! Damage hazard
Battery cables must not be connected to the battery in reverse polarity, otherwise dam-
age to the device may occur.
