Intended use
The thermal carafe is intended for domestic use only.
The thermal carafe cannot be used on its own. It must be connected to a suitable coffee machine.
The thermal carafe can only be used when the temperature indicator is in the blue area.
Do not make any technical changes or use the machine for unauthorised purposes since this would create serious hazards!
The appliance is not to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, mental or sensory abilities or with limited experience
and/or expertise, unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety, or they are instructed by this person on how to
properly use the machine.
Carafe fitting
The fitting installed must comply with that on the machine for use. Do not use the carafe if the connector differs.
For the safety of others
Keep children under control to prevent them from playing with the thermal carafe.
Children are not aware of the risks related to electric household appliances.
Do not leave the thermal carafe packaging materials within the reach of children.
Danger of burns
Never direct the jet of hot steam and/or hot water towards yourself or others. Always use the specific grip on the carafe.
Hot water or steam may spill out: Danger of scalding!
Cleaning
It is strictly forbidden to tamper with the internal parts of the carafe base.
After using the carafe, clean it carefully of all milk, as described in the manual.
Suitable location for operation and maintenance
To ensure a correct and efficient performance of the thermal carafe and coffee machine, we recommend following the instructions below:
When the thermal carafe remains inactive for a long time, disconnect it from the machine. Store it in a dry place, out of the reach of
children. Keep it protected from dust and dirt. After a period of inactivity, clean the thermal carafe prior to use.
Repairs / Maintenance
In case of failure, problems or a suspected fault resulting from the falling of the machine, immediately remove the carafe from the machine
(see dismantling instructions). Never attempt to operate a faulty carafe. Repairs must be carried out only by an authorised service centre.
All liability for damages resulting from work not carried out by professionals is declined.
MACHINE DISPOSAL
In compliance with art. 13 of the Italian Legislative Decree dated 25 July 2005, no. 151 "Implementation of the Directives 2002/95/EC,
2002/96/EC and 2003/108/EC on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment, as well as
waste disposal".
The symbol
of the crossed-out wheeled bin on the appliance or its packaging indicates that the product must be disposed of
separately from other waste at the end of its operational life. The user must therefore take the appliance to be disposed of to an appropriate
separate collection centre for electronic and electrotechnical equipment or take it to the dealer when buying a new appliance of the
equivalent kind (one by one). Appropriate separate collection for the dismantled appliance being subsequently sent out for recycling,
treatment and for environmentally friendly disposal, contribute to the prevention of possible negative effects on the environment and on
human health, and encourage recycling of the materials the appliance is made of.
Specific administrative sanctions provided for by current regulations will be applied for illicit disposal of the product by the user.
