Troubleshooting
Cause
Air in the pump
Suction pipe blocked
Pre-filter is dirty
Power supply inter-
rupted
Pre-filter is dirty
Failure on the suction
side, pressure cannot
build up
Flow meter is jammed
or missing.
Failure in the pressure
line, flow too small,
the pump frequently
switches on and off as
a result of reduced
water extraction.
Remedy
see chapter "Preparation" Diag. A and B
and the chapter "Operation"
Pull out the mains plug and clean the
suction pipe
Remove the pre-filter and clean it under
flowing water; rinse out residual dirt, if
any, in the filter intake by opening the
drain.
Check fuses and electrical connections
Pull out the mains plug, let the pump cool
down, clean the suction area, prevent dry
running
Remove the pre filter and clean it under
flowing water, rinse any dirt residues
from the filter intake by opening the dis-
charge opening.
Check connections to the suction side for
leakage, check backflow valve.
Restart the pump by simultaneously
pressing the + / - buttons.
Check installation and correct orienta-
tion. Clean flow meter.
Restart the pump by simultaneously
pressing the + / - buttons.
If reduced water extraction is required,
the switching frequency can be reduced
by increasing the overpump time, and
thus the occurrence of failure "Err2" can
be avoided.
