Starting the electric brushcutter
1. Guide the extension cable through the strain relief,
see Fig. 6.
2. Connect the extension cable to the mains supply.
3. Pass the carry strap over your left shoulder (Fig. 7)
and hook the strap into the eye on the top handlebar
(Fig. 1/7)
4. Stand securely.
5. Hold the machine with both hands. Do not place the
cutter head on the ground when doing this.
6. With one hand, grip the auxiliary hand grip (Fig. 1/8);
with the other hand, grip the upper handle (Fig. 1/4)
and, at the same time, press the lower switch, see
Fig. 8.
7. Press the switch in the upper handle (Fig. 1/5) and
hold it pressed, see Fig. 8. The machine only runs
when both switches are pressed.
8. Let the electric brushcutter run at idling speed for a
few seconds. This causes the cutting line to be cut off
to the correct length.
9. The machine switches off when a switch is released.
After the machine has been switched off, the spool
head continues to rotate for a few seconds.

Operation
Switch on the machine before approaching the grass
to be cut.
Angle the machine forwards slightly, max. 30°, and
walk forwards slowly.
Sweep the machine to the right and left in order to cut
the grass.
Long grass must be cut in several passes. Always proceed
from top to bottom.
Tap the spool head on the ground from time to
time when working. The automatic tip function
always keeps the line at optimum length.
Make sure the motor is stopped before you remove
any cuttings.
IMPORTANT!
The vibration value during use of the electrical
implement may differ from the indicated value,
depending on what the machine is used for.
Do not overload the machine during work.
Extending the cutting line
1. Run the motor at full speed and tap the spool head on
the ground.
The line is automatically extended.
The knife on the guard plate shortens the line to
the permitted length.
Trimming
1. Check the ground and define what is the required cut
height.
2. Guide the spool head at the required height and hold
it there.
3. Sweep the machine from side to side with a scything
motion.
4. Always keep the spool head parallel with the ground.
Low trimming
1. Guide the machine with a slight forward angle so that
it moves just above the ground level.
2. Always trim away from your body.
