III. VACUUM CLEANER PREPARATION
Remove all packing material, take out the vacuum cleaner and the accessories. Remove all
possible adhesion foils, stick-on labels or paper from the appliance.
VACUUM CLEANER ASSEMBLY
When assembling the vacuum cleaner, follow the procedure indicated in Fig. 1. For
disassembly, proceed the other way round and release the locks.

CHARGING THE ACCUMULATOR

Turn the vacuum cleaner off prior to charging! According to Fig. 1, place the vacuum
cleaner on the charging stand and connect it to the power supply. The accumulator
has to be charged at least for 8 hours prior to the first use. After that, the standard
charging time is approx. 3 hours. The status and progress of charging is indicated by
indicator A3. A fully charged accumulator provides operating time of approx. 65 minutes.

– The vacuum cleaner can be charged only if it is placed in the charging base E.
– Let the vacuum cleaner recharge as soon as its suction performance is weaker.
– When using the vacuum cleaner for an extended period of time or in a hot environment,
the accumulator might be too hot for charging. Let the accumulator cool down prior to
charging.
– If the appliance is used daily, do not unplug the power cord from the socket so that
the appliance is fully charged at all times. Battery overcharge is prevented. If you are
going to be absent for a longer time (more than one day), unplug the power cord from
the socket so as to optimize the battery life.
