Applications
The pruning saw is designed to trim bushes and small trees as well as hedges in private gardens. It is
not intended for professional use. The pruning saw must only be used for the purpose for which it is
intended. All other applications are considered to be unsuitable.
Setting the shaft length
1.
Hold the telescopic shaft with one hand
and unscrew the locking sleeve.
2.
Pull out the telescopic shaft to the
length required.
3.
Tighten the locking sleeve firmly.
Inserting the battery
1.
Hold the pruning saw's handle with one hand and hold the battery in the other.
2.
Press the battery's locking button with your thumb.
3.
Insert the battery fully in the battery compartment.
4.
Release the battery' locking button.
Fitting the shoulder strap
Secure the shoulder strap by pressing in the buckle's spring section in the locking piece. Loosen the
shoulder strap by pressing in the springs on the sides of the spring section.
Filling with oil
Open the oil filler cap and top up the oil in the container. Only use saw chain oil. Do not over-inflate.
Use
NOTE: Set an appropriate shaft length for the work before starting work.
1.
Position the shoulder strap over your shoulders and adjust the length.
2.
Hold the handle with one hand and hold the front handle with the other hand.
3.
Press the power switch latch with your thumb.
4.
Start and stop the pruning saw using the power switch.
Setting the angle of the saw head
The angle of saw head can be adjusted between +60° and -60°.
1.
Hold the bracket with one hand and press the angle adjustment latch using your thumb.
2.
Rotate the head up to 60° upwards or downwards, to align a hole in the bracket with a hole
in the head and release the angle adjustment latch. The latch clicks into position and locks
the head. There are a total of 6 positions and the angle can be adjusted 120°.
