• If necessary, remove the wind-breaking parts such as the protective net and jumping mat
when not in use. Secure the device against risk of use without a safety net.

Frequency and Importance of Visual and Strength Checks
• Carry out visual inspections according to the following frequencies:
- After the first assembly/before the first use: check thoroughly
- After a long period of non-use (e.g. after the cold period): check thoroughly
- after replacing parts such as the safety net or jumping mat: check thoroughly
- after moving the trampoline
- before and after each use
• Pay particular attention to the following points during visual checks; Be sure to rectify any
defects found BEFORE each use:
- Is the device safe and stable?
- Are all connections secure? (bolts, nuts, etc.)
- Are all springs intact and securely attached?
- Is the jumping mat intact?
- Is the safety net including the steel tubes intact and correctly installed?
- Are all protective covers and padding (e.g. over the springs) intact and correctly installed?
- Is the area around the trampoline free of accident hazards such as sharp-edged objects?
- Is the trampoline free of dirt and objects that could harm the jumpers?
- Is the warning sign at the entrance to the trampoline correctly attached and legible?
