You must disconnect the
product from the power sup-
ply every time before you
drain it.
1. Disconnect the instantaneous water
heater from the power supply.
2. Open the cold-water stopcock.
3. Draw off water at the product until
the water escapes without any air
bubbles. To do this, open and close
the hot water tap at the draw-off point
multiple times.
4. Switch the power supply to the in-
stantaneous water heater back on.
5. Start up the product.
6.2 Checking function and leak-
tightness
1. Check that the product functions cor-
rectly and check the tightness.
2. Start up the product.
3. Check that all of the safety devices
are working correctly.
4. Ensure that the product's front casing
is installed correctly.
7 Handing the product over
to the end user
1. Inform the end user how to handle the
product. Answer any questions the
end user may have.
2. Draw special attention to the safety
warnings that the end user must fol-
low.
3. Inform the end user of the necessity to
have the product maintained accord-
ing to the specified intervals.
4. Pass all of the instructions and docu-
mentation for the product to the end
user for safe-keeping.

Remove the front casing. (→ Page 23)

Depressurise the water pipe by opening
the hot water tap at the draw-off point.
▶
Unlock the safety pressure limiter (1).
Note
Single-pole safety pressure lim-

2-pole safety pressure limiter:

Disconnect the product from
the power supply.
Secure the product against
being switched back on
again.
Check that the product is
voltage-free.
Only open the product when
it is voltage-free.
