Danger to life from overestimating the remaining range.
This can result in severe physical injury or in death.
Before starting a trip, make yourself familiar with the travel area, because the
range displayed on the on-board computer does not take wind, current, and
direction of travel into account.
Build in a sufficient buffer for the necessary range.
When operating using external batteries which do not communicate with the
databus, enter the connected battery capacity carefully.
Each season, carry out at least one calibration trip.

When tilting the motor using the tilt buttons, ensure that no-one is present
in the vicinity of the motor.
Do not reach into the mechanical parts when tilting the motor.

This can result in deep discharging of the battery and electrolytic corrosion.
Do not connect other loads (e.g. fish finder, light, radios etc.) to the same
battery bank that operates the motors.

While in motion, ensure that there is no danger of the propeller or fin mak-
ing ground contact.

Damage to the Cruise system from using the tilt lock when towing.
Material damage can result.
Do not use the tilt lock on the transom bracket to secure the tilted motor
while towing.
When towing, use a suitable support, such as squared timbers or similar to
secure the shaft.
