Ram electrode
The included ram electrode, consisting of a slide hammer and the corresponding measuring tips,
must be assembled before use. To do this, screw the measuring tips into the screw fixtures
provided. Make sure that the electrode nuts are screwed tightly to prevent injuries during use.
Drive the impact electrode into the wood to be measured. The impact depth of the electrode
should be one third of the wood thickness, see figure 2. Note that measuring tips must be placed
perpendicular to the wood fibre. Then connect the meter to the measuring electrode, see figure
3.
ATTENTION: There is a risk of bruising if the ram electrode is used improperly.
ATTENTION: If the ram electrode is used improperly, there is a risk of injury from the
measuring tips.
