Letter of guarantee

1. Warranty protection
Andres Industries AG guarantees the consumer and/
or the entrepreneur that TILO™ has the properties
guaranteed in the performance/article descriptions and
is free of design defects, material and manufacturing
defects. The state of the art and the scientific findings
at the time of manufacture of the product are decisive.
The two-year guarantee covers the perfect functioning
of the luminaires, the thermal imaging sensor, the built-
in electronic components and the use of defect-free
materials, in particular their surfaces. The guarantee
of the light function is limited by the fact that the light
output of the LED lamps decreases with their service
life (use-related wear). The warranty becomes void
if housing screws or optical elements are adjusted.
The device may only be opened by the manufacturer.
Otherwise, damage to the device may occur that is not
covered by the warranty.
2. Warranty terms
The guarantee commitment applies under the
following conditions:
– the proper use of the TILO™ according to its
operating instructions;
– maintenance and care according to the
operating instructions;
– operation and installation of accesories in
accordance with the operating instructions and
installation instructions;
– compliance with the limiting values for supply
voltage and environmental effects in accordance
with the operating instructions and installation
instructions;
– the avoidance of chemical and physical effects
as well as the use of unsuitable cleaning and
cleaning agents and the use of unsuitable tools;
– the failure to carry out modifications and
conversions on one's own authority;
– the intended use of the TILO™
– a warranty case does not result in a new warranty
of two years; the remaining warranty period from
the original warranty period also applies to the
replacement product.
– the registration of the buyer within one month after
purchase of the product at Andres Industries AG
with name and address as well as type designation
and serial number of the purchased product, if
the buyer has not already purchased the product
directly from Andres Industries AG.
A resolved guarantee case does not lead to a new
guarantee of two years. The remaining guarantee
period from the original guarantee period also applies
to the replacement product.
3. Warranty service
In the event of a defect or deficiency on the TILO™ the
warranty includes, at the equitable discretion of Andres
Industries AG, free repair or free delivery of spare parts
or replacement of the same or corresponding product.
Andres Industries AG reserves the right to adjust the
warranty in accordance with technical progress. Costs
for assembly, disassembly and transport as well as
expenses, postage and the like are excluded from the
warranty. The warranty does not cover consequential
damages, operational breakdown damages and loss
of profits resulting from a defective or deficient Andres
Industries AG product.
4. Exclusion of warranty and proof of warranty
The claim to warranty services only exists if the defective
product with the corresponding receipt or the dated
invoice of Andres Industries AG or the authorized
entrepreneur is presented within the warranty period,
but at the latest by the end of the working day following
the end of the warranty period. The relevant proof of
purchase must therefore be kept until the end of the
warranty period.
5. Start of warranty
The guarantee period of two years begins with the
handover of the TILO™ to the consumer or entitled
entrepreneur. The guarantee periods attributable to the
entitled trader shall not be set off against those of the
consumer.
6. Warranty extension
Within the registration period of 4 weeks after purchase,
a warranty extension of 1-5 years is possible. Please
