Connect a programming terminal with installed BOS (for connection

The matching data have to be configured in the timer reference of
the BOS for a successful connection setup. Detailed information on
this topic is provided in the BOS 6000 online help (keyword „Registe­
ring timers in the BOS 6000").
If necessary, configure the bus master used so that the WT is reco­

gnized correctly as client and your I/O field is taken into account in
the cyclical data exchange.
Check whether the I/O signals for communication with robots, PLC

or control panel are output/imported properly.
Check the proper programming of the welding programs used (e.g.

weld times, %I (heat), etc.).
Switch on the power supply of the inverter, if you have not already

done so.
The inverter starts. After approx. 10 seconds the DC link is loaded to
full voltage.
The DC LINK VOLTAGE LED at the front side of the timer now has to
be lit red.
Check all emergency-stop equipment for correct function.

Test the plant functionality installed for any faults.
