2. Empty the connecting hose com-
pletely. Make sure that the irrigation
hose (5) is also emptied.
3. Leave all parts to dry thoroughly.
4. Remove the hose box (3) from the
wall mount (1) (see Fig. D).
5. Store the hose box away from frost.

Cleaning and maintenance

Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the hose reel may
result in damage to the hose reel.
− Do not use any aggressive clean-
ing agents, or sharp or metallic clean-
ing objects such as knives, hard spatu-
las and the like. These can damage the
surfaces.

After each use

− Roll the irrigation hose (5) up to the end
stopper (4) to relieve the tension on the
return spring.

As and when required

− Clean all parts with a damp cloth.

Monthly and after every winter

− Check the hose for tears, brittleness
and other signs of wear.

Storage

All parts must be completely dry before
storing.
− Always store the hose reel in a dry
place.
− Protect the hose reel from direct sun-
light.
− Store the hose reel out of the reach of
children, safely locked away and at a
storage temperature between 5 °C and
20 °C (room temperature).
