Important
It is only ever possible to make one connection to a
CMD. If several devices are to be operated simultane­
ously and the measurement data displayed, you have to
start the CMD Assistant several times, connecting to a
CMD each time.
If your PC or the network connection cannot establish a
crossover connection, a crossover cable must be used.
Newer PCs or Ethernet switches can automatically
establish a crossover connection.

Settings example

The following two examples should show you the neces­
sary settings, based on a measurement task.
Example 1: force transducer
S A maximum force of 100 kN is to be measured.
S Select a force transducer with a full scale value of
120 kN (e.g. CFT/120 kN).
S Transducer sensitivity: 4.0 pC/N (enter in the Sensor
sensitivity field in the CMD Assistant).
S Selected measuring range: 100000 N (enter in the
Physical input range field in the CMD Assistant, the
