Bei einem Hauptalarm:
Bereich sofort verlassen, Lebensgefahr!
Ein Hauptalarm ist selbsthaltend und nicht quittierbar.
Nach dem Verlassen des Bereiches, wenn die Konzentration kleiner
als der Hauptalarm A2 ist (bzw. bei O
Taste » OK « drücken –
— Bei O : Der Signalton und die rote Alarmleuchte werden abge-

schaltet.
— Bei allen anderen Messbereichen: Der Signalton wird abgeschal-
tet. Die rote Alarmleuchte sowie die wechselnde Anzeige von Ein-
heit und » A1 « verlöschen erst, wenn die Konzentration unter die
Alarmschwelle für Voralarm gefallen ist.
Ein Sperralarm am CatEx-Kanal (aufgrund einer deutlichen Messbe-
reichsüberschreitung) ist nicht durch die Taste » OK « quittierbar.
Der Sperralarm am CatEx-Kanal wird entweder automatisch oder
manuell durch Aus- und erneutes Einschalten des Geräts an Frisch-
luft (frei von brennbaren Gasen und Dämpfen) quittiert.

Expositionsalarm STEV

— Die Alarmschwelle für den Kurzzeitwert STEV (Mittelwert der Kon-
zentration innerhalb der Mittelwertdauer) ist überschritten.
— Die Alarmschwelle für die Kurzzeitwertdauer bzw. Dauer der er-
höhten Exposition ist überschritten.
– Unterbrochener Signalton und blin-
kende rote Alarmleuchte.

In the case of an alarm:
Leave the area immediately. Mortal danger!
An alarm is self-locking and cannot be acknowledged.
After leaving the area (when the concentration is less than the alarm
threshold A2 or, for O , greater than the lower threshold A1):

Press the » OK « key –
— For O : the signal tone and the red alarm lamp are switched off.

— For all other sensors: the signal tone is switched off. The red alarm
lamp and the alternating display of the units and » A1 « are
switched off only when the concentration drops below the warning
threshold.
A blocking alarm at the CatEx channel (due to significant measure-
ment range exceedance) cannot be acknowledged via the
» OK « button. The blocking alarm at the CatEx channel is acknowl-
edged automatically or by switching the device off and on to fresh air
(free of inflammable gases or vapours).

Exposure alarm STEV

— The alarm threshold for the short-term value STEV (mean value of the
concentration over the mean-value period) has been exceeded.
— The alarm threshold for the short-time exposure value or the
duration of exposure to excess concentrations has been exceeded.
— Intermittent signal tone and blinking red
alarm lamp.
