W Only install and connect the unit when it
is de-energized.

3.2 Conditions of use

W Only install thermostat in conjunction with
electric heating elements from the manu-
facturer's product range.
W Ensure that the output of the electric hea-
ting element does not exceed the output of
the radio receiver (see nameplate).
W When installing in rooms with bath or sho-
wer facilities: comply with protective areas
according to national installation standards
(in Germany DIN VDE 0100-701). Also fol-
low all local regulations.
W During installation, a residual-current-ope-
rated protective device (with trigger limit
less than or equal to 30 mA) must be pro-
vided on-site.
W If a unit is connected directly to the fixed
electrical installations: incorporate a dis-
connecting device in accordance with the
local regulations for mains disconnection.
W Only operate the unit with the approved
voltage (see nameplate).
W Only store and transport the unit in the pro-
tective packaging.
