MENU button (8) or wait for 7 sec.
SECOND CAROUSEL
The purpose of the menus of the second carousel is to install
the TV set. They remain active on the screen until access to
the successive menu is obtained, or until the TV mode is
recalled.
To gain access to the second carousel, keep the MENU but-
ton (8) pressed for at least two seconds.
CAUTION: The second Carousel can be activated only in the
TV mode since it cannot be visualised in the AVI or SVHS
modes. Furthermore, it cannot be accessed in models
equipped with CHILD LOCK and HOTEL MODE functions, if
these are activated.
SUMMARY MENU
This menu is used to organise the programme list, associat-
ing a 5-character name to each one of them.
By using button
the column, while buttons - / + (7) enable the cursor to move
from one column to the other.

Compared to the SUMMARY menu appearing in the first
Carousel, here it is possible to select those functions permit-
ting the rearrangement and insertion of the names associat-
ed to each single programme. Furthermore, during the above
mentioned operations, an information box containing useful
indications is displayed on the screen.
1. Enter the SUMMARY menu by keeping MENU button (8)
pressed for at least 2 sec.

Remember that to move the cursor from one column to
another press buttons - / + (7) while to move the cursor up
and down the column press buttons
digitise the programme number on the remote control using
buttons (4), the cursor shall immediately place itself on the
selected programme.
In the programme it is possible to select the following func-
tions by using the coloured buttons (13) on the remote con-
trol:
Hide / Enter / Cancel / Name / automatic tuning
• Hide: This function adds or removes a programme from
the list of favourite programmes. A favourite programme is
one whose access is obtained by using buttons
During this operation the hidden programme is skipped (in
the summary menu the hidden programmes are marked in
red).
Hereunder is an example of how to hide programme 2 from
the list of favourite programmes:
