7.4.3.26 Preset via process data

With the following attributes, an adjustment value can be transferred and set as a new
position value via the "Configuration Assembly" with the cyclic process data.
The attributes 0x78 to 0x7A are not intended to be set or read out via the acyclic
data; they serve exclusively as mapping parameters for displaying the corresponding
values in the "Assembly Instances", see chapter 7.3 on page 104.
The adjustment value must be within the programmed measuring length -1.
If an invalid adjustment value is transferred, the adjustment is not accepted and the
error code 0x80 is reported in the status byte "Attribute 0x7A, Justage Status". With
writing 0x00 to the control byte "Attribute 0x79, Justage Control", the error code in the
status byte is deleted.
The adjustment value is set with rising edge 0->1 of bit 0 (0x01) from "Attribute 0x79,
Justage Control". The execution of the adjustment is acknowledged in "Attribute 0x7A,
Justage Status" with a 0->1 edge of the bit 0 (0x01). When bit 0 (0x00) is reset in
"Attribute 0x79, Justage Control", bit 0 (0x00) in "Attribute 0x7A, Justage Status" is
also reset automatically.
By means of bit 2 in "Attribute 0x79, Justage Control" the preset can be executed in
two ways:
 Preset mode "absolute"
Prevailing preset value e.g. = 0:
In "Attribute 0x79, Justage Control" the bits 0 and 2 must be set to 0. The current
position value is set to the value 0 with a rising edge 0->1 of the bit 0 in the
"Attribute 0x79, Justage Control". In "Attribute 0x7A, Justage Status", the preset
execution is acknowledged by setting bit 0 to the value 0.
To complete the preset execution, the bit 0 in the "Attribute 0x79, Justage Control"
must be reset again. Bit 0 in "Attribute 0x7A, Justage Status" is then automatically
reset.
 Preset mode "relative"
Prevailing preset value e.g. = 1000, current position e.g. = 4000:
In "Attribute 0x79, Justage Control" bit 2 must be set to 1 and bit 0 must be set to
0. The current position value 4000 is set to the value 5000 with a rising edge 0->1
of the bit 0 in the "Attribute 0x79, Justage Control".
To complete the preset execution, the bit 0 in the "Attribute 0x79, Justage Control"
must be reset again. Bit 0 in "Attribute 0x7A, Justage Status" is then automatically
reset.

Danger of physical injury and damage to property due to an actual value
jump during execution of the preset adjustment function!
 The preset adjustment function should only be executed when the
measuring system is stationary, or the resulting actual value jump must be
permitted by both the program and the application!
