10.2 Cleaning

10.2.1 Flushing the pump

Before switching off, flush the pump with air at atmo-
spheric conditions (ambient pressure) for about 5 minutes
(if necessary for safety reasons: with an inert gas).
Danger of injury through not using gen-
uine spare parts
The functionality of the pump and its
safety will be lost, if genuine spare
parts are not used.
The validity of the CE conformity is
rendered void if genuine parts are not
used.

Use only genuine spare parts
from KNF for servicing work.
Servicing interval

Inspect the pump periodi-
cally for external damage
or leakage.
à
Periodically check for no-
ticeable changes to
noises and vibrations.
à
At the latest, replace
when the pump flow rate
decreases.
During cleaning work, ensure that no
fluids enter the interior of the housing.
