Use only tool-specifi c discs and guards which are designed for the type of the disc in question.
The discs for which the tool is not designed cannot be properly guarded and are not safe.
The convex disc must be mounted in such a way that the sanding surface does not protrude beyond the plane of the pro-
tective fl ange of the guard. An incorrectly mounted disc which protrudes above the guard poses a risk to safety during operation.
The guard must be securely attached to the tool and positioned for maximum safety, so that the smallest possible area
of the disc is exposed towards the operator. This guard helps to protect the operator from broken disc fragments and prevents
accidental contact with the disc.
The disc must be used as intended. For example, do not sand with a cutting disc. Cutting grinding wheels are designed for
use under heavy pressure and the lateral forces applied to such a disc may cause it to fall apart.
Always use undamaged fi xing fl anges which are the correct size for the sanding disc. The correct fi xing discs of the sanding
disc reduce the possibility of damage to the sanding disc. The fi xing discs for cutting discs can be diff erent from the fi xing discs
for sanding wheels.
Do not use worn sanding discs from larger tools. A larger diameter sanding disc is not suited for
higher rotation speed of smaller tools and may break.
Caution! Sanding with sanding sheets
Do not use oversized sanding discs. When selecting a wheel, follow the manufacturer's recommendations. A sanding
sheet which protrudes well beyond the disc may cause injury, and also increase the risk of jamming, tearing or kickback towards
the operator.

PREPARING THE MACHINE FOR OPERATION

Caution! When mounting and adjusting the components, pull out the power cord plug to disconnect the tool from the power supply.
Additional handle
Check that the handle cannot move. Tighten the fi xing screws (II) if necessary. During operation, check that the fi xing screws on
the handle have not come loose due to vibrations. Tighten if necessary.
It is recommended that the dominant hand always rests on the main handle and the other hand rests on the additional handle. This
will ensure stable and safe handling during operation, which will reduce the risk of injury and make it easier to prevent the causes
and eff ects of kickback towards the operator.
Installation of the sanding disc
The disc is mounted on the spindle by means of fi xing fl anges. Place the inner fi xing fl ange on the spindle so that the cut-outs in
the upper surface of the fl ange fi t the spindle tab (III).
Attach the disc to the inner fi xing fl ange so that the disc opening fi ts into the convex central part of the inner fi xing fl ange, then
screw the outer fi xing disc (IV) onto the spindle. If the disc is more than 5 mm thick at the fi xing point, the central, convex part of
the outer fi xing fl ange should face the inner fi xing fl ange. If the disc is less than 5 mm thick at the fi xing point, the central, convex
part of the outer fi xing fl ange should face outwards (V).
Connecting the dust extraction
Slide the free end of the fl exible hose onto the dust extraction opening (VI). Make sure that the hose will not disconnect on its
own during operation.
The bag is equipped with an opening for easy emptying. The opening is closed with a sliding clip. When working, make sure that
the bag opening is always closed with a clip. The bag should be emptied frequently. If a reduction in dust extraction from the
workplace is observed, this may be a signal to empty the bag. The bag is equipped with a belt, which allows it to be hung and
carried during work.
The tool can also be connected to an external vacuum system for removing dust, e.g. an industrial vacuum cleaner. The hose for
this connection must be purchased separately.
Caution! Domestic vacuum cleaners are not suitable for the extraction of sanding dust. Do not use domestic vacuum cleaners to
extract sanding dust.
Mounting the sanding paper sheet (VII)
Caution! The sanding paper sheet or diamond sanding disc must be inspected for damage before mounting. Replace the sheet
with a new one which is free of damage, should any damage in the form of folds, cracks, tears or holes be noticed.
The sanding sheet must be provided with a surface which allows it to be attached on the disc by means of Velcro pad. The sheets
should have holes in the same places as the holes in the tool disc. Only then will it be possible to extract the dust generated during
operation eff ectively.
For the Disc Head, place the sheet on the disc coaxially so that the holes in the sheet match the holes in the tool disc. The edge
of the sanding disc must not come into contact with the tool guard or the peripheral brush of the guard.
