4. Tighten the support for bracket or the stop fitting (4c) on the mast in proper level.

4.5 CRANE INSTALLATION (FIG. 5-6)
5. Mount crane bracket if such one exists with anchors M16. Check that the bracket is plumb before fixing. The tightening torque is 100 Nm.
Mount the parking chain (1.3) with shackle in the bracket for crane jib as shown, and install it above the crane mast.
Mount the crane jib (1.1) and fix it with the spike (1.2). Mount the winch in a suitable working position with bolts and nuts M16. The tighte-
ning torque is 197 Nm.
Pull the wire round the wire wheel and place the steering lever through the tube ø45/35x115 mm.
Place the crane (1) on top of the mast (8) or the crane bracket if such one exists.
If the crane shall be fixed, drill a hole in the mast for mounting of the spike (1.6).
4.6 MACHINE INSTALLATION
The fitting installation is finished. Now the machine shall be made ready and installed.
If the machine is delivered with a dismounted propeller, this shall now be mounted as described on Fig. 11.
If the machine is placed outside the tank then push the crane jib (1.1) right forward and fix it with the spike (1.2). In this position the crane jib has
such a working length that the machine can be lifted free of the tank side or platform. If the machine is placed inside the tank adjust the crane jib
(1.1) to the correct working position at once.
6. Dismount spikes and bushes at the back of the motor bracket.
7. If the crane is delivered with a trap hook (6), it is to be placed in the trap clamp on the motor bracket. Use the winch (1.4) to lift the ma-
chine free from railing or platform.
8. Turn the machine above the tank and place the hook of the parking chain (1.3) in the trap clamp, so that the machine hangs in it. Pull
back the crane jib until the wire (1.5) is parallel to the mast. Do not forget to remount the spike (1.2). Use the winch to lift the machine until
the parking chain is slack. Then dismount the parking chain (1.3) so that the machine hangs in the wire (1.5).
9. Use the winch to lower the machine to a point under the holder for mast (7) and guide the motor bracket in place around the mast (8).
Remount spikes and bushes on the motor bracket and lower the machine to stop fitting or support for motor bracket (3). Fasten the cable
relief (9) with snap hook in the holder for mast (7) and tighten the cable.
When the machine is placed in working position, the cable must be tight. To tighten the cable, lift the machine about 2-4 cm and tighten it with the
suspension at the holder for mast. Lower the machine to the stop fitting again.
When the machine is placed at the bottom position, you have to check that the propeller can rotate freely without touching the bottom or tank side
by turning the propeller and fittings 360° or against the mounted turn stop.
Installation accessories must, at regular intervals, undergo a visual examination for wear and corrosion and, if necessary, those parts must be
replaced.
If the crane is mounted with a trap hook, it will be profitably to mark the wire with tape to make it easy to find the correct depth for hoists in the
future.
ALWAYS CHECK THE ABOVE BEFORE STARTING. DIRECTION OF ROTATION IS RIGHT (CLOCKWISE) SEEN FROM MAST.
If power supply is established according to instructions for use and regulations for power, the machine is ready for use.
AFTER MOUNTING OF MACHINE IN CLOSED TANK, THE TANK INLET MUST BE SECURED AGAINST PRECIPITATION.
NEVER LEAVE TANK INLET WITHOUT COVER OR OTHER PROTECTION.
