5. Installation
This machine is set up, installed and handed over by
our Technical Service staff ready for use.

Changes to the installation or set-up must be
carried out by our Technical Service staff, as
these can be dangerous.
❍
Only use the newly supplied hoses. Old hoses
must not be reused. Only use accessories that
have been approved or supplied by the
manufacturer. Otherwise, safety and health may
be compromised.

Ensure that the following requirements are met,
before you use the machine - this ensures the
safe and proper use of the machine!

5.a Requirements for the water supply:

The water supply must be capable of being shut
off at all times during operation (stop valve) and
meet the requirements of EN 61770.
➁
The water pressure must be at least 2.5 bar (at
5 l/min. dynamic) and must not exceed 6 bar
(consider possible fluctuations during night/day).
Should the pressure exceed 6 bar, a pressure
reducer must be fitted on-site.

The carbonate hardness of the water should be
between 1 and 5 dKH. If it is ...

> 3° dKH a decarburization device (Brita water
filter) is compulsory
–
< 1 dKH please consult the manufacturer (soft
water).
Any water filters used must be checked for
effectiveness and replaced at least every 12
months.
5.b Requirements regarding the waste water
outlet:

This must be connected to a fixed water drain with
stench trap.

The connection to the water drain must be
protected from backflow and flooding in order to
prevent the machine being soiled by returning
waste water.
