Safety instructions

Before operating the microwave oven, please read
these operating instructions carefully. Observe all
warnings and notices displayed on the microwave
oven and contained in these operating instructions.
Correct use in accordance with these
instructions
The MWG 763 Microwave Convection oven with
Grill is intended for:
• defrosting deep-frozen or chilled foods
• quick heating/re-heating of foods or drinks in
microwave-safe containers
• cooking food
• retaining warmth
• baking and gratinating
• grilling.
It is solely intended for the above purposes and
may only be used for these.
It may only be used in the manner described in
these operating instructions. The microwave oven
may not be used for commercial purposes.
Any other use is deemed to be not in accordance
with these instructions and could lead to damage to
property or even endanger life and limb.
CLATRONIC INTERNATIONAL GmbH cannot be
held liable for any damage caused by use not in
accordance with these instructions.

Obvious misuse

Never remove the outer cover which protects
against microwave radiation.
Never operate the microwave oven if the door or it's
components, especially the door seals, are
damaged.
Do not dry clothing in the microwave oven.

Basic safety rules

• never open the microwave oven housing.
• only connect the microwave oven to a correctly-
installed 230 V ~, 50 Hz mains plug socket.
• The plug socket must be freely accessible, so
that in emergency the microwave oven can be
quickly and easily disconnected from the mains.
• switch the microwave oven off:
before cleaning,
when attaching accessories,
if the microwave oven is not to be used for a
length of time or
when a malfunction has occurred.
• only disconnect the mains plug from the socket
by pulling the plug.
• children may only use the microwave oven when
supervised by an adult.
• protect the microwave oven from dripping or
spraying water.
• do not stand any objects filled with water, for
example vases, next to or above the microwave
oven.
• do not set up the microwave oven near water, for
example, near a sink.
• do not immerse the microwave oven or the
mains cable in water.
• never touch the mains cable or the microwave
oven with wet hands.
• do not bend or crush the mains cable.
• never operate the microwave oven with a
damaged mains cable, never use after a
malfunction, nor operate when the oven is
damaged. Have the microwave oven checked
and/or repaired by service personnel before
using again.
• Repairs and maintenance work should only be
carried out by properly-trained personnel.

Avoiding danger of suffocation

• do not allow children to play with the packaging
materials.
