Information to operating and programm functions
After switching the power supply the Doorguard hardwired version is in the activated state.
Activated state means:
! If the door would opened, an optical and acoustical message are sent to alarm devices.
! Possible operating procedures for temporary or permanent release to set the Doorguard in the
deactivated state.
! Operated by authorized persons (e.g. key), alarm can be stopped.
! The green LED indicates the activated- or deactivated state.
! The red LED indicates a open door or an alarm.

General information about operation
For operation is the integrated key switch intended, alternatively the external input (MG 4) can be used with an
external key operated switch. An operation action must always be longer than 200 ms.
If the door is open - activation is not possible!
Active state: Doorguard active, the green LED lights up.
Deactivated state: Doorguard deactivated, the green LED flashes.

Explanation of terms
Automatic activation: Activation is performed automatically when the door is closed.
Manual activation: The door can be opened at any time after activation. If the door lock release time is excee-
ded, a reminder signal is emitted every 20 seconds. The Doorguard must then be manually
reactivated.
Release with automatic activation: This function is intended for temporary release (15 s oder 60 s). Exceeding
Door lock release : Period in which the door may be opened when the Doorguard is inactive.
Door open time:
Period during which the door is permitted to remain open after authorized opening before
an optical and acoustical message is emitted.
Door open signal:
This period indicates how long the reminder signal of the Doorguard is activated before
expiry of the door open period. Door lock release, door open time and door open signal are
programmed with DIP switch S11 (15 s or 60 s).
