Memory Set Initial Message
Specifying the Memory Set Initial Message
For each of the UR-80's memory sets, you can specify a "Memory Set Initial Message" that will be
transmitted when you select that memory set. The Memory Set Initial Message is a MIDI message
of up to 48 bytes.
* Special characters (such as DT, used in Free Message) cannot be used in a Memory Set Initial Message.
1.
In the Main window, press the [Edit] button located at the right of the INIT MESSAGE check box.

The Initial Message dialog box will appear.
3.
Use the text area to input the desired Memory Set Initial Message.
4.
Use the Output Port field to specify the port from which the Memory Set Initial Message is to be
transmitted.
5.
When you have finished making settings, click [OK].
Enabling the Memory Set Initial Message
If the Memory Set Initial Message is enabled, the MIDI message you specified as described above
will be transmitted when you select that memory set.
To enable the Memory Set Initial Message, check the "INIT MESSAGE" check box in the main
window.
* If you don't want the Memory Set Initial Message to be transmitted when you select the memory set, uncheck
this item.
