In this chapter you receive important safety information regarding the handling of
the appliance. Incorrect usage can lead to personal injury and property damage.
DANGER
Risk of potentially fatal electrical current!
Contact with wires or components that are under voltage could
be potentially fatal!
Pay heed to the following safety instructions to avoid risks from electrical current:

Do not use the appliance if the power adapter, the power cable or the plug
connector are damaged.
►
Under no circumstances should you open the power adapter housing.
There is a risk of receiving an electric shock if voltage carrying connections
are touched or the electrical and/or mechanical construction is changed.
WARNING
The risk of explosions and leakage exists!
For the safe handling of the battery pack pay heed to the following safety
instructions:

Do not throw the battery pack into a fi re.
►
Do not short circuit the battery pack.
►
Regularly check the battery pack. Leaking battery acid can cause permanent
damage to the appliance. Special caution should be shown when handling
damaged or leaking batteries. Risk of acid burns! Wear protective gloves.
►
Store the battery pack away from children.
►
Remove the battery pack from the seat cushion if it will not be in use for some
considerable time.
