Replacing the data battery
If the data display is faint, replace the data battery.
1. Open the data battery compartment as shown in Fig. 9.
2. Remove the old battery and insert a new one, making
sure the plus sign is at the top.
3. After changing the battery set the date again.
• Battery type: 3V lithium button cell (JS CR2025).
• Battery life: Approx. 3 years.
Notes:
• The date is difficult to read in a photograph taken
against a bright or busy background.
• The databack is intended to be used at temperatures
between 50 °C and -10 °C. The display can become
difficult to read at higher or lower temperatures.
• The Quartz date model is fitted with an automatic cal-
endar, which is programmed until the year 2019. It
automatically adjusts for short and long months and
leap years.
