Setting the input/output signal
format
When the HKPF-9000 is connected, you can specify
the input and output signal format by doing the
following procedure.
Specifying the input signal format

Press the INPUT button.
The INPUT button lights up.
The MEMORY ADDR. indicator shows the
number corresponding to the format of the signal
currently input to the HKPF-9000.
For details on the selectable format numbers, refer to
the installation manual supplied with the HKPF-9000.

After confirming the format shown in the
MEMORY ADDR. indicator, use the –/+ buttons
to change the number, if necessary.
Press the + button to increase the address, and the
– button to decrease the address.
To detect the input signal format
automatically
Select one of the following numbers according to
the type of the input signal.
A0: Detects the signal format when the HD
signal is input.
A1: Detects the signal format when the SD
(single) signal is input.
A2: Detects the signal format when the SD (dual)
signal is input.

To cancel the operation
Press the CANCEL button.

Press the INPUT button.
The selected format number is transmitted to the
HKPF-9000 and the memory address is displayed
in the MEMORY ADDR. indicator.
When DIP switch S100-2 on the internal board is
set to ON, the MEMORY ADDR. indicator reverts
back to showing the adjustment and setting values.

Press the OUTPUT button.
The OUTPUT button lights up.
The MEMORY ADDR. indicator shows the
number corresponding to the format of the signal
currently output from the HKPF-9000.
For details on the selectable format numbers, refer to
the installation manual supplied with the HKPF-9000.

Press the + button to increase the address, and the
