Playing media
You transmit commands to the DVD-Player via remote control. It is
thus important to point the upper end of the remote control towards
the DVD-Player.
1. Press the button Open/Close (Fig. 2/19) on the remote control or
on the player.
The CD/DVD tray opens.
2. Place the CD/DVD on the tray (Fig. 12).
3. Press the remote control button Open/Close (Fig. 2/19) again.
The CD/DVD tray closes.
The display (Fig. 1/2) first shows "Load". Replay of the medium
starts after a short while.
When playing DVDs/VCDs you can view the on-screen menu by
pressing the A-TIME-button (Fig. 2/18).
Press the A-TIME-button again to exit the menu.
The DVD menu consists of several pages. The menu is structured
as follows:

Operating status (1): Here you can view in which mode the
DVD is played (normal play, fast forward, etc.).
Media type (2): The display shows which media type is currently
used (e.g. DVD or VCD).
Menu (3): The menu is to be used to navigate through the DVD
and to make certain settings.
Bitrate (4): This informs you about the amount of data being
transferred by the DVD-Player to your replay unit.
Title Elapsed (5): Here the time is displayed. The display
depends on the setup of your DVD-Player. You can e.g. have the
playtime of a chapter displayed. The indicated time can be
changed with the menu option "Time Disp." (see below).
Menu commands
Use the menu as follows:
1. Press the Cursor Buttons (Fig. 2/14) to to navigate through the
menu.
2. Press the Play-button (Fig. 2/27) if you would like to change a
menu command.n
3. Then enter the desired value either with the Numerical Buttons
(Fig. 2/17), or by means of the Cursor Buttons (Fig. 2/14).
4. Press the Play-button (Fig. 2/27) to confirm your input.
