CAUTION

When adjusting the handlebar height using the support bar, loosen the hexagon nuts (8) ) C1 to such an extent that

the bar can be moved freely during this work. In addition, beware of potential crushing spots between the base of

the bar and the housing. When loosening the attachment screws (10) W2 between the base of the bar and the

support bar, make sure the bar does not fold over unintentionally. This may result in risk of injury!

Stick the bolts pre-assembled in the vibration dampers (1) of the top handlebar bar, from top through the holes in the

lower bar.

From the bottom put a reinforcement lining (2) in place and screw with a hexagon nut (3) each.

into the side bracket (2).

NOTE

After attachment of the engine-brake throttle cable, the braking function of the safety control bar must be checked.

As soon as the control bar is released, the cutter bar must come to a standstill within three seconds. If this is not

the case, please consult your nearest authorised workshop.

Hang up the bracket on the end of the Bowden cable in the switch lever for the motor drive (1).

–

Unscrew the nuts (2) all the way.

–

Pull the switch lever for the motor drive (3) on the capping piece while pulling the moveable part of the end of the

Bowden cable (4) towards the rear until the wire cable (5) can be inserted into the recess of the side bearing (6) from

below.

–

The free travel of the switch lever is 2 – 3 mm. Please check the setting with the adjusting screw (8).

–

Screw on the nut (2) and fasten with the locknut (7).

–

Fasten the Bowden cables to the upper and lower part of the handle using the cable ties from the tool bag.

To hook in the starter cable, the safety switching bracket (1) on the bar top (2) must first have been folded down.

–

Pull out the starter cable (3) and hook it into the starter handle mount (4) using a turning motion.

–

Once the starter cable has been hooked in, turn the starter handle clockwise to the AVS housing, as far as the stop.

This prevents the starter cable from popping out.

Open the deflector attachment plate.

Screw the deflector in the mower housing using the pre-fitted screws in the plate.

CAUTION

The deflector is under tension, be careful when opening it as otherwise fingers can become crushed.
