HERZLICHEN GLÜCKWUNSCH ZUM KAUF IHRES RATZ FRATZ!
GEBRAUCHSHINWEISE:
Bitte lesen Sie diese Anleitung sorgfältig und fangen Sie erst mit der Montage an,
wenn Sie alles verstanden haben. Das Ratz Fratz Laufrad muss von einem Erwach-
senen montiert werden. Versichern Sie sich, dass auch Ihr Kind diese Anleitung
verstanden hat. Fehler beim Aufbau des Ratz Fratz können beim Benutzer oder Anderer
zu Verletzungen führen.
WARNHINWEISE:
Dieses Produkt ist ausschließlich für glatte, gepflasterte Flächen geeignet. Benutzen
Sie es nicht auf öffentlichen Straßen. Das Ratz Fratz ist nur für eine Person geeignet.
Achten Sie darauf, dass ihr Kind die entsprechende Schutzkleidung (Helm) trägt
und das Ratz Fratz nicht ohne Schuhe fährt. Erlauben Sie Ihrem Kind nicht bei Däm-
merung, in der Nacht oder bei schlechten Sichtverhältnissen zu fahren. Um Ihr Kind
und Andere nicht zu gefährden, lassen Sie es nicht auf Fahrbahnen und in Durchgän-
gen, sowie an Abhängen und Hügeln fahren. Meiden Sie die Nähe von Treppen und
offenen Gewässern. Überprüfen Sie das Ratz Fratz vor jeder Fahrt um sicher zu gehen,
dass alle Teile noch richtig fixiert sind und das Ratz Fratz bestimmungsgemäß funk-
tioniert. Bewahren Sie die Gebrauchsanleitung auf.
MONTIEREN DER RÄDER UND DES SATTELS:
Montieren Sie die Räder in die Gabel, indem Sie die Unterlegscheiben und Muttern
von den Achsen der Räder lösen. Befestigen Sie zunächst das vordere Schutzblech
(siehe Abbildung). Die Räder sind mit Pfeilen gekennzeichnet, welche die richtige
Rotation der Räder zeigen. Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie die Räder mit Pfeilrichtung
vorwärts montieren. Fixieren Sie die Räder mit den Sicherungsunterlegscheiben und
ziehen Sie die Achsmutter fest an. Montieren Sie den Sattel wie auf der Abbildung
dargestellt. Beachten Sie die maximale Ausziehhöhe. Die Nichtbeachtung der maxi-
malen Ausziehhöhe kann zu schweren Unfällen führen!
MONTIEREN VON LENKER UND BREMSEN:
1. Montieren Sie die Lenkerstange parallel zu dem Vorderrad. Dazu muss die Abde-
ckung der Klemmschelle (1), die Klemmschelle (2) und die Plastikscheibe (3) wie
auf der Abbildung zu sehen ist, zunächst über den Lenker gestülpt werden. Der Lenker
kann bis zur Anzeige MAX auf der Lenkerstange justiert werden. Er darf nicht weiter
herausstehen, da sonst Unfallgefahr besteht. Ziehen sie dann die Schelle fest an.
Achten Sie vor dem Anziehen der Schrauben auf die richtige Stellung des Lenkers
zum Vorderrad. Ziehen Sie den Lenker nie über die Markierung hinaus aus! Aus
Sicherheitsgründen sind die Räder nur zur Hälfte mit Luft befüllt. Pumpen Sie die
Räder vor Benutzung auf!
2. Die Bremsklötze am Hinterrad sind bereits vormontiert. Schauen Sie dennoch nach,
ob die Oberkanten der Bremsklötze gerade zu dem obersten Rand der Felge stehen.
Stellen Sie unbedingt sicher, dass die Bremse einwandfrei funktioniert! Testen Sie es
vor der Benutzung einige Male. Um die Bremse optimal einzustellen, muss diese mit
der Hand zusammengedrückt werden. Die Klemmschrauben müssen gelöst werden
um das Bremsteil erneut zu spannen. Die Klemmschraube anziehen und die
Feinjustierung mit der Einstellschraube vornehmen.
3. Positionieren und befestigen Sie anschließend die Handbremse auf der rechten
Seite des Lenkers. Testen Sie danach wieder die einwandfreie Funktion der Bremse.
4. Bringen Sie zuletzt noch die Schaumstoff-Lenkerpolsterung an der Lenkerquer-
stange an.

Verwenden Sie zu Ihrer eigenen Sicherheit nur original Ersatzteile und nehmen Sie
keine baulichen Veränderungen vor. Originalteile können Sie bei HUDORA beziehen
(Adresse unten). Reinigen Sie das Ratz Fratz nur mit einem Tuch oder feuchten
Lappen und nicht mit speziellen Reinigungsmitteln!

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
Please read these instructions carefully and start assembly only after you have
understood everything. The Ratz Fratz Scooter must be assembled by an adult. Make
sure that your child has also understood these instructions. Mistakes when assem-
bling the Ratz Fratz can lead to injury of the user or others.
WARNING:
This product is suitable only for smooth, paved surfaces. Do not use it on public
roads. The Ratz Fratz is to be used by one person at a time. Please pay attention that
your child wears the corresponding protective clothing (helmet) and does not ride
without shoes. Pay attention that your child keeps both hands tightly on the handle-
bar to have control over Ratz Fratz. Do not allow your child to ride at dusk, at night or
in poor light conditions. So that your child and others are not endangered, do
not allow your child to ride on roads and in thoroughfares, on slopes and hillsides.
Avoid riding close to stairs and open waters. Check Ratz Fratz before every ride to
make sure that all parts are still fixed correctly and the Ratz Fratz works as it should.
Please store the instructions for use in a safe place.
FITTING THE WHEELS:
Mount the wheels into the fork by removing the washers and nuts from the wheel
axles. Attach the front guard plate first (see drawing). The wheels are marked with
arrows indicating the correct rotation direction of the wheels. Ensure that you mount
the wheels with the arrows pointing in the forward direction. Fix the wheels in place
using the lock-washers, and tighten the axle nuts firmly. Attach the seat as shown on
the drawing. Pay attention to the maximum extension height. Ignoring the maximum
extension height can lead to serious accidents!
FITTING THE HANDLEBARS/BRAKES:
1. Mount the steering bar parallel to the front wheel. To do this, the clamp (1), the
clamp (2) and the plastic disc (3) as shown in the drawing must first be drawn over
the handlebar grip. The handlebar grip can be adjusted up to the mark MAX on the
handlebar. It must not protrude further, as this can lead to accidents. Then tighten
the clamp securely. Ensure that the handlebars are in the correct position in relation
to the front wheel before tightening the screws. For safety reasons, the tyres are
only half-inflated. Inflate tyres fully before use!
2. The brake blocks on the rear wheel are pre-assembled. You should still check
however that the upper edges of the brake blocks are properly in line with the upper
edge of the wheel rim. Ensure that the brakes function properly! Test the brakes a
few times before use. To adjust the brake optimally, press it together by hand. The
clamping screws must be loosened to re-tighten the braking part. Tighten the
clamping screw and do the fine adjustments using the adjustment screw.
3. Then position and attach the handbrake on the right side of the handlebars.
Then test the correct functioning of the brake again.
4. Finally, fit the foam handlebar padding to the cross-piece of the handlebars.

cloth and not with special cleaners!
