Maintenance and Warranty regulations

Maintenance

The module equires periodical maintenance and cleaning in
order to avoid malfunction and to ensure long-time operational
reliability.
Insufficient maintenance will influence the operational
reliability and result in lapse of warranty.
WARNING !
Only trained and qualified staff members can carry out
maintenance and cleaning. The machine must be disconnected
from the mains supply (pull out the mains plug!). Thereafter,
wait around 5 minutes before maintenance and repairing, as
all capacitors need to be discharged due to risk of shock.
Cooling unit
• Check cooling liquid level and frost protection and refill
cooling liquid as required.
• At least once a year, clean the water tank and the water
hoses in the welding hose for dirt and rinse with clean
water. Then add new cooling liquid. The machine comes
with a cooling liquid, which consists of demineralized water,
propylene glycol and benzotriazole. The cooling liquid
provides frost protection to –12°C. See article number in
the spare parts list. The cooling liquid is not considered
hazardous waste. Waste can be disposed of through the
municipal waste disposal system.
Dispose of the product and cooling liquid according
to local standards and regulations.
