1)
The bus coupler is only supplied with power via X10. The bus state from V+, V–
is monitored internally. All lines are looped through.
2)
If V+ and V- have been incorrectly assigned, the LED will display a fault and the
device will stay in initialization status. Make sure that V+ and V- are assigned
on the bus plug.
When using a cable with a filler cord, this can be additionally
connected to pin 1 on the bus plug (X71, X72).
The connection technology and plug assignment comply
with the specifications in the "Interconnection Technology"
technical directives (PNO order no. 2142).
6.3.2
1. Set up the correct pin assignment (see Tab. 5 on page 98) on
the plug connections if you do not use pre-assembled wiring.
2. Connect the incoming bus connection to X71 (1).
3. Remove the PG fitting B.
4. Connect the outgoing bus cable with the next module using
2
the X72 output (2).
5. Set switch S8 to "OFF" (bus terminator = OFF, see "Setting
the bus terminator" on page 114).
6. Screw the PG fitting B back in. Pay attention that the sealing
ring is positioned correctly.
7. Connect the shield on both sides of the bus cable directly to
the plug housing (EMC housing) if non-pre-assembled
cables and plugs with metal housing are used. This protects
