2.4.6.3. COM2 with Discrete I/O Connections
The COM2/Discrete I/O option board (Figure 2-62) is positioned in option position 1 on the main
board, and provides the COM2 serial port with two isolated inputs and four dry-contact normally
open relay outputs. The inputs can be selected as either active or passive based on the position of
the slide switch on the board.

COM2 section. Refer to that section for details.
