8. Always make sure that your hands are thoroughly dry before using or
adjusting the switches on the appliance, or before touching the power
plug or power connections.
9. Should acid leak from the batteries, avoid all contact with skin, eyes and
mucous. Rinse any affected area with plenty of water and seek medical
attention immediately.
10. Improper replacement of batteries may lead to a risk of explosion. only
replace the battery with batteries of the same type or equivalent.
11. Before disposing of the appliance, remove all of the batteries.

by a service engineer approved, so as to eliminate any risks.

contact an assistance service or a service engineer approved, so as to

18. If any fluid should leak from the batteries, do not use the appliance: take
it to the nearest assistance service for battery replacement.

the end of its useful life, it must not be disposed of with other household
waste. It can be taken to a council recycling centre or to stores or retail-
ers offering this type of service. Separate disposal of electric appliances
means it is possible to avoid some of the negative effects on health and
