5.9.1 Connection to an external chronothermostat
I t i s p o s s i b l e t o c o n n e c t t o a n e x t e r n a l
chronothermostat that switches the stove on and
off according to the temperature set.
When the temperature is reached, the thermostat
opens the circuit and then switches off the stove.
The external thermostat must be connected to the
terminals (3 and 4) on the back of the stove and that
as default is provided jumpered. Then disconnect
the jumper and connect the two contacts of the
thermostat.
It is important to set the stove in
"TERM EXT YES".
For the first time, after installation of the
chronothermostat, the stove must be switched on
manually, while the chronothermostat is in "call"
status. This operation is also necessary when there
is a power outage or if the stove is switched off
manually.

In order to avoid overlapping of operation time slots
the stove timer should be deactivated (set to OFF)

5.9.2 Operation with ambient probe.
In certain circumstances it may be useful to ensure
that the stove manages its operation according to
the temperature read by the ambient probe on the
stove itself.
For this purpose, it may be useful to position
the ambient probe on the heater in a suitable
location for more precise reading of the ambient
temperature.
It is important to set the stove in
"TERM EXT NO".
5.9.3 Connection to a storage tank with coil
The stove can also be set up such that a coil storage
system maintains a particular temperature.
In this case simply disconnect the temperature
probe on the stove and extend it as far as the probe
pit on the storage tank.
It is important to set the stove in
"COIL".
5.9.4 Connection to a storage tank without coil
The stove can also be set up such that a
storage system without coil maintains a particular
temperature.
