8. Initial use

8.1 Charging the battery

WARNING! Due to the high current consumption, do not
charge the speaker on a notebook/PC but only with a suitable
mains adapter (5 V
contents).
Before initial start-up or if the integrated battery is flat, charge the device up
as follows:
 Carefully open the cover to the Micro-USB charging port (10).
 Connect the supplied USB charging cable (B) to the Micro-USB charging
port (10) and to a free USB port on a USB mains adapter (not included in
the package contents).
 The battery LED (6) lights up orange while the battery is charging Once
the battery is fully charged, the battery LED (6) will light up green. You
can continue to use the speaker while it is charging. Please note that this
will slightly increase the amount of time required to charge the device.
 Disconnect the USB charging cable (B) from the speaker after charging.
