( . CORRECTIVE MEASURES FOR THE TROUBLE OF THE
CHAIN-OFF THREAD ROLLING-IN SEWING

1. In the case of using the SC-921

1. When the chain-off thread is not neatly rolled in :
1 Making the state of soft-chains of the chain-off thread
2 Increasing the pressure of chain-off thread presser spring
3 Increasing the number of stitches to be sewn with tension released for start
4 Decrease the slow-start sewing speed.
5 Increasing the number of stitches of the slow start
2. When the needle thread tension is released at the start of sewing
1 Decreasing the number of stitches to be sewn with tension released
2 Decrease the slow-start sewing speed.
3 Increasing the number of stitches of the slow start
Chain-off thread can be neatly rolled in the seam at the start of sewing by releasing the
thread tension for one or two stitches.
Other items to be checked :
1 The mode is set to the chain-off rolling-in mode ?
2 Slow start is set ?
3 Chain-off presser plate is rising ?
4 Thread tension plate normally works without friction ?
5 Material to be sewn is pushed under the upper knife as far as it will go ?
