8.2.5 Using the Grounding Monitoring Device for Containers, Barrels and IBCs
Electric connection diagram, see chapter 6.2.3.3.
The clamps are equipped with two contacts:
• The first serves to detect the connection between the barrel and the grounding point of the
building and the safe discharge of the the electrostatic charge.
• The second contact serves as a direct connection between the barrel and the grounding
point of the building. The second contact is activated after the safe discharge of the
electrostatic charge.
The clamps can also be used in Zone 1.

The corresponding indicator lamps on the device indicate the operating conditions of the
device (also see the "Intended use" and "Device design" chapters).
