Regularly check that the air holes in the fi rebox are also clear. Use a wire
brush to remove any dirt or blo-
ckages. For thorough cleaning, the
fi rebox can be completely remo-
ved. To do so, you merely have to
remove four cross-head screws and
washers. When refi tting the fi re-
box, make sure that you position it
correctly. The fi rebox should be fi t-
ted centrally and fi rmly seated but
not under too much tension. You
should also check that the igniter
tube air holes are clean as shown
in the illustration on the right. Re-
move all residues or blockages in
both areas in order to enable per-
fect lighting.
The ITC (Intelligent Temperature Control) on your barbecue has a control-
ler with microprocessor technology. The ITS uses a fast 5 A fuse for 230 Volt
to protect against voltage peaks and short circuits.
Proceed as follows when replacing the fuse.

Electrical safety

1. Make sure that the grill has cooled down, is switched off and DISCON-
NECTED from the power supply.
2. Open the shelf and remove the storage bin, loosen the central faste-
ning screw of the lid. The back of the control box should now be visible
and accessible.
3. Remove the two fl at-head screws and carefully move the control box
back in order to reach the fuse holder.
