6 Operating Modes
Two operating modes are supported by the measuring system:
● Synchronous
● Distributed Clocks
In the "Synchronous" operating mode, the process data of the incoming EtherCAT
telegram are synchronized with the application using the respective Sync Manager.
In the "Distributed Clocks" operating mode, the process data are output
synchronously to the so called SYNC-Signals of the Distributed-Clocks-Unit. The
relevant settings are performed in the EtherCAT master. By the measuring system the
synchronization signals "SYNC0" and "SYNC1" are supported.
